Butter Tilapia . السمك البلطي بالزبدة


Tilapia is one of my favourite Fish ! I'm always used to eating it deep fried in Oil & Coated with a thin layer of Flour (after marinading it for sometime) , This is how we usually cook Tilapia in Egypt ! And since I'm a very busy mom & I always have no time, So I decided to fry it in Butter with some Salt & Pepper ,without wasting a long time in the marinade . I used a good non-stick pan , as Tilapia is a very fragile fish & choose a nice relatively thick Tilapia cut to use & it was really so delicious, I felt the real fish taste in my mouth , The recipe I used before was perfect, but I liked this way of cooking more as the taste of Fish was not masked by other the flour & frying process .

Sugar Cookies covered with Fondant. الكوكيز المغطاه بالفندان


I made those Cookies for my Daughter's Birthday :) It was a challange for me doing Cookies with Fondant ! That was my first trial & definitely not the last ! I liked a lot how pretty the Cookies looked & I liked the idea of making such colorful & pretty Cookies !
At first I thought that Fondant Cookies were so complicated , but they actually turned to be so easy & you can prepare the Fondant shapes a day ahead of doing your Cookies, just keep it seperated from each other & kepp it in an airtight container !
Here are the tools you will need as a start , they are very simple & cheap tools!

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting. Schokoladen Frosting für Cupcakes.


This is a very nice & easy & delicious Frosting for Cupcakes, My aim doing this Frosting was to decrease the amount of Sugar as much as possible because I don't like the very sugary Frosting !
Thanks to my dear friend Noha who gave me Tips for doing those pretty stars on top of each Cupcake. I was really bad in decorating Cupcakes, So don't lose hope if you make bad Cupcake decoration, all you need is more & more training :)

Egyptian Beef Liver . Ägyptische Rinde Leber.


Egyptian Beef Liver recipe is a very popular Liver recipe all around Egypt. It's called "Alexandrian Liver"  , The name is related to the beautiful city of Alexandria in the north of Egypt.
It's sold every where in Egypt, & in many corners in Food Carts , we eat it in Sandwiches with the Egyptian brown bread or in Pita bread, with Tahini Sauce.
It's usually done very spicy, but I prefer it not so spicy because my kids don't bear spicy food :)
Here's the very easy recipe that is done in less than 30 minutes.

Raspberry Red Velvet Cupcakes . Himbeeren red velvet Cupcakes.


It's Valentine's & everyone around is spreading red recipes :) I had some Raspberries at home & thought of incorporating them in those lovely Cupcakes & in the Frosting as well !!
I got the best result ever for Red velvet Cupcakes ! I simply loved it & loved the Mascarpone- Raspberry Frosting.

Those are really easy & fast Cakes, that I do for the kids often , They are delicious & nutritive for Kids too. The ingredients here are for 6 Cupcakes or mini Cakes & you can double the amount if you want to do more.

Tahini Sauce . Tahini Soße.


Tahini Sauce is a very popular Egyptian (or Oriental ) Sauce, we actually call it in Egypt Tahini "Salad" not "sauce" , it's very easy , done in very few minutes & it's an amazing side dish with all grilled dishes . We also eat it with bread for breakfast or lunch beside other dishes , it's delicious & you can add the spices you want to it & you can control its thickness , by adding more or less water. I personally prefer it a bit liquidy , but some people prefer it thick, Some people add "Hummus" or Yogurt to it. but this is the basic recipe & you create your own recipe out of this basic recipe.
